Hangzhou Steam Turbine Casting and Forging Co., Ltd. is one of the casting and forging manufacturers in Zhejiang. The predecessor of the company was the casting steel, cast iron, mold, rough machining workshop, and forging heat treatment workshop of Hangzhou Steam Turbine Co., Ltd., which was established in 1958. In 2004, it was restructured and established as a joint-stock enterprise controlled by Hangzhou Steam Turbine Co., Ltd.

    　　The company currently has more than 380 employees, including 83 management and technical personnel, 5 employees with senior professional titles, 29 technicians, and nearly 200 technical workers. The company has introduced a large number of technical backbones from the original Hangzhou Steam Turbine Co., Ltd., and has over 30 years of rich experience in providing high-quality castings to the United States, Japan, and other countries. The annual production capacity of 15000 tons of castings and 20000 tons of forgings has been formed。

    　　In order to cooperate with casting and forging production projects and deepen product processing capabilities, the company has hired 7 forging and heat treatment experts who have worked in well-known enterprises to enhance relevant technical strength. A total of 18500 ㎡ of land is newly added, and 33300 ㎡ of production plants and auxiliary buildings are newly built. The project plans to add one heat treatment and machining workshop each, and the heat treatment workshop is equipped with 7 well type resistance furnaces, 2 combined thermal resistance furnaces, 3 desktop resistance furnaces, and quenching, cooling, and hoisting systems. Currently, 5 pit furnaces, quenching, cooling, and hoisting systems have been accepted. After the completion of the project, it will undertake the tasks of machining and heat treatment of castings and forgings with an annual output of 30000 tons。

    　　In terms of heat treatment, it is mainly positioned in the shaft system, mainly consisting of a group of well type resistance furnaces, equipped with resistance trolley furnaces, resistance pit furnaces, thermal stability (heat run) testing furnaces, and related supporting and auxiliary equipment。

    　　The main product objects of forging heat treatment are: performance heat treatment of various types of steam turbine rotors (including thermal stability testing) and supporting forgings in steam turbines, blower spindle forgings, generator spindle forgings, marine forgings, mining machinery series forgings, etc。

    Process and equipment characteristics

    The company has two molding production processes: resin sand and sodium silicate sand. It has melting equipment such as electric arc furnace and intermediate frequency furnace, various casting cleaning equipment, and multiple automatic recording heat treatment equipment, which can perform vibration aging treatment and normalizing, annealing, and tempering treatment on castings. The new forging project has one 4500T and one 1000T fast section oil pressure press, four horizontal band saws, and other related inspection equipment, which fully meets the needs of domestic and foreign customers for high-precision, high-quality castings and forgings.

    The company mainly produces various grades of alloy steel parts, carbon steel parts, alloy iron castings, and other steel castings and forgings. The main products involve power stations (mainly steam turbines), shipbuilding, petrochemical industry, mining machinery, metallurgical equipment, compressors, rail transit, water pumps (oil pumps), and other fields.
